Glass Cast Resin Options
All of our resin keepsakes are handcrafted in our North Norfolk studio. Using various different techniques, depending on the type of flower, we firstly dry your flowers and then start work on encapsulating them in a crystal clear glass cast resin.
We offer a variety of different styles and sizes including hearts, hexagons, squares & tealight holders. Please see the drop down options for all of our available sizes and prices.
Resin Terms & Conditions
All of our resin items are completley handcrafted using a UV stable high quality resin. If looked after carefully, your keepsake should last a life time. You will recieve a care card with your finished order explaining how to look after your keepsake.
We can only use dried flowers in our keepsakes, not fresh so your flowers will be dried before being encapsulated in resin and will have the appearance of dried flowers. Please be aware that flowers naturally change shape and colour when they dry.
As our resin items are crafted by hand please be aware that there may be some or all of the following imperfections, these slight, natural imperfections are a completley natural part of handcrafting with resin and are not classed as defects or damage.
Micro-bubbles can get trapped in the petals & appear in resin. Some items will have layer lines, this is due to the resin being poured in multiple layers and is unavoidable. These lines only appear on the sides of the product so do not detract from the finished pieces which are made to be viewed from the front.
The sides of all shapes may not be as crystal clear as the front of the product and may be slightly cloudy, this does not detract from the finished pieces which are made to be viewed from the front. All resins yellow to different degrees over time. We use a high quality, UV stable resin to minimize any yellowing & if looked after correctly then you can keep discolouration to an absolute minimum and your keepsake will last a life time.
Due to the complex and timely nature of creating resin flower preservation items we are unable to give an exact completion date. Orders can take anywhere between 3 months to a year to complete dependant on many factors. The average timescale is around 3 - 6 months but please allow up to 12 months for your order to be completed.
Are my flowers suitable?
We ask that flowers are delivered to us within a week of the event. We may still be able to work with flowers that are older but usually the fresher the flowers the better the results. Unfortunately it is not possible to advise on the condition of flowers by looking at a photo. As a general guide, if the flowers have started to really droop, are shedding petals or have petals turning brown then they will not be suitable.
A few flowers are not suitable for drying regardless of condition, these include; Lilys, Tulips, Orchids, Succulents, Calla Lilys and Chrysanths.

How flowers dry, natural changes
When your flowers have dried & we are ready to begin working on your order we will email you with a photo to show you how your flowers have dried & to check that you are happy with them before we move onto the next step. Please look out for this email as it is important that that we begin work on your flower keepsake as soon as possible when the flowers have dried.
Flowers will naturally change colour and shape as they dry and age, white roses will turn a cream colour, pinks may fade and reds may darken. On rare occasions flowers don't dry well and unfortunately there is no way of knowing this before we begin the drying process. Some flowers can appear healthy and in excellent condition but may have bacteria or disease in the leaves or stems, or may have been treated with harsh fertilizers which we know nothing about.
If you are not happy with how your flowers have dried and do not wish to continue with having your keepsake created then let us know at this point & we will return your flowers to you. After this point, as flower preservations are custom orders, refunds are no longer possible.
